Why We Serve

Orchestra Musician

There’s nothing like seeing the church come together in praise, knowing that every rehearsal and every note helps create an atmosphere where people can focus on God and respond to Him in worship.

Equip Class Facilitator

One of the most rewarding parts of serving as an Equip Class Facilitator has been watching people grow more confident in their understanding of Scripture. Through meaningful discussions and studying God's Word together, I've seen lives transformed as people learn to apply biblical truth to their everyday lives.

Homebound Ministry

I’ve seen how God uses simple acts of care to encourage those who can no longer attend church, reminding them they are deeply loved, remembered, and still an important part of our church family.

Benevolence Evangelism and Prayer Team

Serving in the Benevolence Ministry has reminded me that sometimes the greatest gift you can offer is simply being present for someone in a difficult season. I've had the privilege of listening, praying, and sharing the hope of Christ with people who needed encouragement, and it's been amazing to watch God replace worry with peace and remind them they are not alone.

First Kids LBS Leader

Getting to walk with the same kids week after week has been one of the greatest blessings of serving in First Kids LBS. Seeing them ask deeper questions, grow in their understanding of God's Word, and begin living out their faith reminds me that every lesson and conversation is an opportunity for God to shape a young heart.

Children's Buddy

Serving in First Kids Special Needs Ministry has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my faith journey. I've seen how God works through patience, compassion, and consistent relationships to help every child feel loved, included, and valued just as they are.

Wednesday Night Leader

One of my favorite parts of serving in First Kids has been watching children grow more excited about learning God's Word each week. Seeing their faith grow through Bible stories, conversations, and genuine relationships has reminded me that God uses faithful volunteers to make an eternal difference in the lives of kids.

Discipleship Group Leader

Being part of Men’s Discipleship has shown me the power of intentional relationships and having brothers who walk alongside me in faith. Through honest conversations, prayer, and accountability, I’ve seen God use these connections to strengthen men, encourage spiritual growth, and remind us that we were never meant to follow Christ alone.

Women's Ministry Hospitality

Serving through Event Design has allowed me to use my gifts behind the scenes to help create spaces where women can connect, be encouraged, and grow together in faith.

ESL Teacher

Serving in ESL Ministry has allowed me to build relationships with people from different cultures while sharing the love of Christ through simple conversations and acts of kindness. I’ve seen how God uses language learning as a bridge to create connections, open hearts, and provide opportunities for people to experience His grace and hope.

Videographer

Through photos and videos, I’ve had the privilege of helping share stories of worship, connection, and transformation so others can see the impact of what God is doing through our church.

Choir Vocalist

Being part of Voices of Downtown has shown me how God can use a willing heart and a simple act of service to create moments that draw people closer to Him.

Student Ministry PATHMAKER

Serving in Student Ministry has reminded me that showing up consistently can make a lifelong difference in a student’s faith journey. I’ve watched God use simple conversations, shared experiences, and intentional relationships to encourage students, help them grow closer to Christ, and remind them they are known and valued.

College Ministry Adult PATHMAKER

I had the opportunity to invest in the lives of college students through simple moments of connection and pointing them toward Christ. As I faithfully showed up and built relationships, I saw God transform hearts, grow disciples, and use those conversations to help students discover their purpose in His Kingdom.

GriefShare Facilitator

Through listening, encouragement, and compassion, I saw how God used simple moments of connection to bring comfort, hope, and the reminder that no one has to walk through grief alone.

CornerBooks PATHMAKER

While I was serving at CornerBooks a father and his son stopped by, and through a simple conversation over coffee, God opened the door for a meaningful connection.

Uplift Kids Choir Leader

For many children, choir is one of the few places they feel truly known and safe. PATHMAKERS build trusted relationships that help children experience the love of Christ. Those weekly connections often become opportunities for meaningful spiritual conversations that impact a child's faith for years to come.

Greeter

Greeters help families feel known and valued from the moment they arrive. Your smile, encouragement, and willingness to help create an environment where children and families feel safe, welcomed, and ready to experience God’s love.
